You are probably wondering how we can charge as much as 80% less than our
competition and still be in business, right? First of all, we run a tight ship. We choose our promotions carefully and ensure every advertising dollar pays for itself, for example, we don't spent $8000 renting an advertisement booth at major conferences; we promote our products through the "word of mouth" by our existing customers; we don't spend a lot of money printing fancy marketing materials; we streamline our systems and billing processes. Second, we were initially funded by the Head Start Bureau. It is time to pay it back to the Head Start community. We see ourselves as a socially responsible company. Third, we're a small team of Head Start "friends". We are Head Start volunteers, former Head Start grantee staff members and even a former Head Start child. We understand Head Start from inside out. There are no tricks in what we do, just good, old-fashioned, reliable business principles. Because we are a small and lean team, we are extremely busy and of course each one of us has to work very hard every minute of the day, and quite often the night too. But we enjoy what we do and every one of us takes pride in what we offer to the Head Start community. What's the end result of all this? Well, we're happy to tell you that we're a small but profitable company that has been providing IT products to the Head Start community for many years and expects to be in business for many many years to come.
