PROMIS has a great deal of merit. Much time is spent doing all the things you listed in the benefit section. Most of our staff have little computer skills especially fixing a file, transferring information, etc. Our time would be better used JUST LEARNING THE PROGRAM and entering DATA. All fixit problems will be taken care of by you. The turn around time would be very short and all sites would be fixed at the same time if major glitches were identified. Please continue to move forward on this option. We all at our Head Start program would be most thrilled. How can we help??? Great option!!!!”

We were apprehensive about switching over to a brand new data base program. Our success with PROMIS and Cleverex is due, in part, to the fabulous training they provide, the reliable technical support (on the Web or over the phone), and the detailed User’s Manual. We recently had one of the trainers come here for a three-day training. He was VERY accommodating. We had questions on particular areas of PROMIS that were not part of his agenda and he was more than happy to take us through the process and help us actually understand what it was that we needed to do. One of the best features in PROMIS is the Reports function. We are constantly tracking our family’s data; from income to homelessness, and from disabilities to assessments and everything in between and outside the box. We have found many reports that are EXACTLY what we had been looking for. And the ones that we could not find? Guess what? We could create a great deal of them OURSELVES with a fast and easy feature called the “Quick Report Wizard!” It takes you step by step in creating a custom report with just the selection criteria that you and your agency need. Also available to you is the Custom Built Report which Cleverex will create—just for you—for a reasonable fee. But really, all of the Available Reports that are at your fingertips may be the only reports you need. There are a plethora of choices. Another great feature of PROMIS that gives piece of mind to our staff as well as our Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Family Advocates, and Health Advocates is that PROMIS is backed up EVERY night through an electronic files maintenance company in Virginia. No more worrying because the wind may blow down a tree which may come crashing down on a transformer rendering our agency power-less and we live in fear that all of our data will be lost or unsaved. Lastly, our Teachers love the ease of use of PROMIS! The more we learn here in the office, the more we are able to empower other staff to help them learn more about PROMIS and all that it is capable of. It is easy for our Teachers to use!
